“My dear fellow,” said Sherlock Holmes as we sat on either side of the fire in his lodgings at Baker Street, “life is infinitely stranger than anything which the mind of man could invent. We would not dare to conceive the things which are really mere commonplaces of existence. If we could fly out of that window hand in hand, hover over this great city, gently remove the roofs, and peep in at the queer things which are going on, the strange coincidences, the plannings, the cross-purposes, the wonderful chains of events, working through generation, and leading to the most outre results, it would make all fiction with its conventionalities and foreseen conclusions most stale and unprofitable.”

OH JEREMY
So in this episode, JB!Holmes has contracted some deadly jungle fever ;-;
he’s laying out on the couch under a blanked with his hair slick with sweat
and his face is paper-pale and his eyes are darting frightened and lined with thick red bags
and he’s ranting deliriously about oysters in moaning, broken voice
and Watson is trying to tend to him but Holmes doesn’t want him to get sick so he’s desperately, pathetically begging him to keep his distance between heavy raspy coughs

even so, something tells me he has something up his sleeve

EDIT: soooo it turned out that HE WAS INDEED FAKING IT FER DA CASE

Here dwell together still two men of note
Who never lived and so can never die:
How very near they seem, yet how remote
That age before the world went all awry.
But still the game’s afoot for those with ears
Attuned to catch the distant view-halloo:
England is England yet, for all our…
Mein gott. My heart. It is warmed.
Yes, my cats remind me of Sherlock and John. Don’t judge.
Uhura is tall and lean, and when holding still looks quite like a statue. She’s also brilliant - always exploring and solving problems. (Within her first few months of life, she taught herself to play fetch unprompted.) She doesn’t enjoy being handled - if picked up she will protest and push your face away with her paws. But if it’s on her terms, she loves being shown appreciation.
Indy is a big-eyed sweetheart and loves lazing around. He’s very patient, as illustrated by his tolerance of excessive manhandling and frequent games like Spidercat. But when he gets his game on, he is a saber-toothed, muscular whirlwind of fur. Plus he gets into much mischief, and follows/stalks Uhura around a lot.
It looks like I’m more excited about dress-up than Uhura is, as she glares at me while sporting a Sherlock scarf (that didn’t even make it around her neck). Indy however doesn’t mind taking a nap in a John jumper.
